White water rafting is done in Jinja the largest city in the eastern region of Uganda. Apart from visiting . tourists usually travel to Jinja to opt for the water rafting activity. Jinja is a colonial town of Uganda and is commonly referred to as the adventure capital of Uganda. This is where rafting takes place at River Nile. White water rafting has been in existence for over 10 years. Rafting is an exciting adventure for everyone and at times you fall into the river. However sometimes the Nile is constrained to one channel.

White water rafting is done in paddle rafts which carry a maximum of six people plus a rafting guide who is well trained in rafting.
Each person is given a paddle and the guide keeps instructing you on how best to use the paddle to enjoy the raft and how to be safe.
